A little more about me.
I’m from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and been working in animation since 2008, after a brief fling with advertising.
For 10 years (2008-2018) I was a part of Birdo Studio, in São Paulo, where I learned the ropes and worked on every step of the animation pipeline: design, storyboards, animation, editing, writing and eventually directing. At Birdo I also developed and pitched 3 of my 4 shows, and was lucky to be part of the team that created the 2016 Rio Olympic Games mascots.
In 2019 I moved to Los Angeles after signing an overall deal as an executive producer at Disney TV Animation, where I developed multiple shows. Now, one pandemic later, I’m still living in LA with my wife, kid, and our two weirdo pups. I’ve developed projects not only at Disney, but also Amazon Studios, Glitch, Sony Pictures Animation, Playstation Productions, Cartoon Network, 3Pas and 20th Century.
I’ve written, directed, storyboarded and designed for kids, adults, and everything in between. And not just series, but also music videos, tad-supported content, and online shorts as well. All with a focus on character-led, concise and entertaining storytelling.
