The story so far...

Here’s a little more about me.

I’m from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and been working in animation since 2008, after a brief fling with advertising.

For 10 years (2008-2018) I was a part of Birdo Studio, in São Paulo, where I learned the ropes and worked on every step of the animation pipeline: design, storyboards, animation, editing, writing and eventually directing. At Birdo I also developed and pitched 3 of my 4 shows, and was lucky to be part of the team that created the 2016 Rio Olympic Games mascots.

In 2019 I moved to Los Angeles after signing an overall deal as an executive producer at Disney TV Animation, where I developed multiple shows with my creative partner Mark Satterthwaite. Now, one pandemic later, I’m still living in LA with my fiancée and our two weirdo pups. I’ve developed projects not only at Disney, but also at Cartoon Network, Amazon and Sony.

Oh! And in 2023 Mark and I released a kid’s picture book on Scholastic! It’s called “Chompy Has a Friend for Lunch”, and it’s pretty darn cute.
